Through dedication and a strong work ethic, she quickly expanded her role within the company, assisting with QuickBooks, accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and the onboarding of independent adjusters. She also contributed to the company’s growth by supporting RFP preparation and various marketing initiatives.
Motivated to grow within the industry, Marylia obtained her All-Lines Adjuster license and began handling claims, initially focusing on workers’ compensation before expanding into liability and property claims. Her experience across both administrative operations and field claims has given her a well-rounded understanding of the claims process and the needs of clients.
After taking time away to focus on her growing family, Marylia later returned to assist the company with translation services. She was soon asked to step into a claims desk role, where she continues to support the team while providing valuable bilingual assistance.
Outside of work, Marylia enjoys playing musical instruments such as the guitar and piano, painting, and gardening. She currently lives in New Jersey, where winters often involve snow shoveling and the warmer months are spent tending to her garden. She also enjoys reading to her children and organizing creative activities for her kids and neighborhood children.
